The self-guided trolley is a battery-powered, unmanned automated vehicle with a non-contact guide. Its main function is to transport the material to a specified position with a certain stopping accuracy through a complicated path under computer control.

Second, the role of AGV in AS/RS

The console accepts the AGV delivery task issued by the three-dimensional warehouse management system through the computer network, and collects the state information of each AGV and the unboxing robot in real time through the wireless local area network communication system. The dispatch command is passed to the selected AGV based on the demand situation and the current AGV operation. The AGV completes a transportation mission and stands by at the pallet recycling station, waiting for the next mission.

There are optical communication devices at each of the three-dimensional library delivery ports and the unpacking robots. For the running AGV, the console will exchange information with the AGV through the wireless LAN communication system to realize the collision avoidance scheduling, working state detection, and task scheduling of the AGV question. The transfer is completed by exchanging tasks and status with the AGV through the optical communication at the stereoscopic warehouse and the unboxing robot.

The automatic navigation system completes the guidance of the AGV. The charging system consists of a charger and a charge controller to complete online fast automatic charging. The AGV accepts the task of the console and completes the transportation. The ground transfer equipment can realize the automatic transfer, loading and exchange of empty trays of the AGV.
