Four guidance methods for AGV precise navigation and positioning

AGV is an intelligent mobile robot and an unmanned van. It is the main equipment of modern industrial automation logistics system. The function of AGV navigation system is to ensure that AGV trolley walks along the correct path and guarantees certain walking accuracy.
AGV itself is a kind of mobile robot. It is a comprehensive system integrating environment perception, dynamic decision-making and planning, behavior control and execution. It focuses on sensor technology, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, computer engineering, automation control engineering, and multi-disciplinary research results. It represents the highest achievement of mechatronics and is one of the most active areas of scientific and technological development.
The guidance method of AGV is divided into three types according to whether there are guiding routes: one is the way of fixed route: the other is semi-fixed route, including mark tracking mode and magnetic guidance mode; the third is no route mode, including ground help guidance. Ways, using the route command guidance on the map and searching for the shortest path guidance on the map.
At present, there are four common guidance methods: the guidance method of the fixed route includes an electromagnetic guidance method, an optical control belt guidance method, a laser guidance method, and an ultrasonic guidance method.
