1. Safety issues: In the United States, for example, an accident related to a forklift caused about 100 deaths and 20,000 injuries.

2. High cost: forklift purchase accounts for 20% of the total use cost, and operator and maintenance costs account for 80%. One forklift can cost up to $250,000 a year, and 50 forklifts cost $12.5 million a year. How to reduce the cost of expensive use for a large forklift fleet is a big challenge.

3. Forklift utilization problem: In a company with a large forklift fleet, the actual utilization rate of forklifts is often not high. A 24-hour real-time tracking of a fleet of 42 forklift trucks resulted in forklift utilization. In 24 hours, there are only 28 forklifts operating at the same time. Tracking a forklift operator operating a forklift for one day shows that one shift is 8 hours, the operator is on the forklift for 4 hours, the forklift is running for 2 hours, the forklift truck or running time is 1 hour, and the effective working time is 1 hour, but it has to be paid. The 8-hour salary and the low utilization rate of the forklift will indeed bring huge financial burden to the enterprise.

4. Management issues: What is the health status of each forklift? What is the need for maintenance? Which forklifts can be on duty that day? How is the attendance status regulated? These are the practical problems faced by forklift management.
