With the development of science and technology, people are increasingly demanding automation in the industrial production process and become more and more intelligent. More and more robots are being placed on the production line, and the car is equipped with automatic guiding devices that can be cycled according to a predetermined orbit. In addition to automatic handling, the car also needs smart charging. Below we introduce different charging methods for various cars:

(1) According to the charging time can be divided into: random charging and full cycle charging

Random charging is charged at any stop of the AGV at any time without any time limit. If there are more charging points, the electric energy lost by the forklift AGV during the working process will be replenished in time, and the shallow charging of the battery will greatly prolong the service life of the battery and reduce the required battery. capacity.

Full-cycle charging requires the forklift AGV to exit the service and enter the specified charging zone and charge when the battery charge drops below the specified range.

(2) According to the charging area can be divided into: online charging and offline charging

On-line charging means that the AGV does not need to leave the task work route, does not need to run separately to charge, and uses the fragmentation time during the work to charge.

Off-line charging means that the AGV exits the service and enters the charging area or a dedicated charging station for charging.

(3) According to the operation method, it can be divided into: manual, battery replacement and automatic charging.

When the power of the AGV is insufficient, it is commanded by the ground control center to drive to the designated charging area or station. The full-time staff manually completes the electrical connection between the AGV and the charger, and then performs charging. The manual charging forklift AGV is characterized by safety, reliability, simplicity and low equipment cost. Often used in places where the degree of automation is not very high, there are fewer people in the car, and the standard work system.

Automatic charging also requires manual operation. When the forklift AGV needs to replenish power, it will automatically report and request charging. It will be commanded by the ground control center to drive to the designated charging area or station. The vehicle charging connector will automatically connect with the ground charging system and implement charging.
