The AGV trolley has safety protection and a variety of transmission functions. It can be driven according to a preset boot path, so it is the most widely used in industrial applications and does not require a drive. Typically, it controls its course of travel by computer and also travels using electromagnetic tracks. The stable AGV trolleys are available in traction, self-unloading, latent, lift and various drive types, each drive type. Depending on your characteristics, you can choose the right drive type.

1, single drive (the most widely used driver)

This type of drive is used in three-wheel models, a drive and steering wheel, and two fixed drive wheels that are distributed on either side of the body axle. This type of car can move forward, return, and turn when the corner is less than 90 degrees. Because the three-wheel structure has good grip and ground requirements, this AGV is suitable for various environments and occasions.

2, differential drive (needs harsh conditions)

Three-wheel and four-wheel models are usually provided. Two fixed drive wheels are distributed on both sides of the body shaft. A three-wheeled model or two four-wheel-type freewheels are driven by the speed difference between the two drive wheels. This type of AGV can move forward, return, turn, and rotate in place, and the turn is more adaptable than a single drive. In the case of a three-wheeled AGV model, the suitability of the ground is similar to the suitability of a single drive. If it's a four-wheeled model, it's easy to cause one of the wheels to float and affect navigation. Therefore, the surface flatness of the ground is very high and the application range is limited.

3, dual drive (highlighted cost issue)

For four-wheel AGV models, two drives and steering wheels, two drive free wheels. This model can be pushed forward, back, and driven in all directions. Its outstanding feature is that it can control any changes in body posture during driving, suitable for narrow passages or environments and occasions with special requirements for working direction. The disadvantage is similar to the differentially driven four-wheel drive model. The ground level is very high and the application range is limited. In addition, the AGV trolley has a complicated structure and high cost, but it still cannot block the market perception.

4, multi-wheel drive (characteristic but expensive)

For eight-wheel models, four drives and steering wheels, four drive free wheels. This brand is good, reputable AGV car can go forward, back, and all-round driving. Suitable for heavy industrial transportation, complex structure and high cost. The advantages of AGV cars are very high. For example, this product is highly automated. The control of the electronic control device only needs to issue commands to achieve the preset effect, and its appearance is more beautiful, and can also indirectly improve the corporate image. It is convenient to use, can reduce the occupied area, and the charging is relatively simple. When the power is exhausted, the system sends a request command to charge, so the cost is quite high.
